Dr. Hahn refrains from Fensterbau

Dr. Hahn, the Mönchengladbach-based manufacturer of door hinges, will not exhibit at Fensterbau/Frontale 2020.

"In order to present new products to the market for the first time Fensterbau is an important platform for us," explains Klaus Weiss, Head of Marketing at Dr. Hahn. "Our planning is set up in such a way that we start actively discussing the product innovations with our customers immediately after the fair. This is also planned for this year".

"Postponing the trade fair by three months cannot lead to postponed market cultivation. This loss of time would have an immediate impact on sales of the new product groups which could not be made up for," the company's press release continues.

"We assume that by the trade fair date now planned, the most important target groups will have been personally informed about the new products by our expert field advisors," says Weiss. From an economic point of view, Dr. Hahn is convinced that, regardless of the payments already made for various services that have not yet been taken up, the effort involved will clearly exceed the benefit.

"With the announcement of the postponement we have already commissioned measures enabling us to communicate the contents of our trade fair appearance through other channels," announces Klaus Weiss. "If the customer does not come to the booth, we will take the booth to the customer."

With small roller hinges for PVC doors, Dr. Hahn was going to show four new products in Nuremberg. The Rollenband AT and a Türband 4 AT, improved in many details, were also to be presented to door manufacturers and trade partners from all over the world. In addition, some prototypes at the stand were intended to invite the trade visitors‘ assessment.

"In 2022 we will definitely be showing our colours again in Nuremberg, certainly with new constructions," assures Weiss, "but this year it simply does not make sense under the given framework conditions.
