Hahn KT-RKV, 2-piece
Door hinge of butt design for plastic doors with mounting in the door rebate.
The Hahn KT-RKV is fastened with screws in the rebate as is common for butt hinges. Depending on the design of the profile sections, the 3-piece hinges are able to support doors weighing up to 120 kg, while the 2-piece version is able to bear up to 90 kg. These two series are fastened with the aid of self-drilling screws in the reinforcement of the frame profile with long pins to distribute the forces, acting on the hinge. In addition, Dr. Hahn also offers the option of pre-drilling into the prechamber alone – in other words only in the plastic – and supporting door leaves weighing up to max. 80 kg by using shorter pins and self-drilling screws.
Efficient processing in the workshop and at the building site
The mounting and removing of the door leaf is particularly easy and convenient with the 3-piece hinges. The upper hinge part can be easily mounted and removed in any position without having to loosen the fastening screws. Consequently, the door is mounted as with the 2-piece version and only then connected again with the upper hinge part. An important advantage for installation personnel on the building site. In case of a low door lintel the door leaf can be removed in the same way.

The new Rollenband AT is a hinge system that can be adapted to all common door frame systems. Its roller diameter of 20 mm meets the high design standards, which building owners and architects have for ensuring that hinges on their residential and commercial doors are as unobtrusive as possible. It can be adjusted in six directions. The adjustment takes place inside of the hinges. The well-designed hinge contour is retained even in case of extreme adjustment. The largely pre-assembled hinge is quick and easy to install.
A one-piece bearing pin made of stainless steel ensures a high level of stability. This is designed in such a way that the door can be easily removed even in case of a low lintel. The bearing point made of a special high-quality material is almost abrasion-free even with doors that are very heavy and subject to frequent use and thus requires no maintenance by facility management.
