At its booth at Bau 2023, hinges manufacturer Dr. Hahn will show its latest developments to German trade visitors for the first time. "We have really missed the opportunity to present our products in the context of a trade fair," Marketing Manager Klaus Weiss is looking forward to April. "In this environment, you can present your product range to a very large number of interested parties in a very short time. The lack of trade fairs has already had a detrimental effect on the marketing of our new developments."
 

That is why Dr. Hahn will present in particular the range of new roller hinges for the door made of metal profiles, but also the roller hinge form for plastic doors. Here, the focus for door manufacturers is particularly on the screw connection in the top deck of the profile systems. The advantage of the Hahn KT-RN and Hahn KT-RKN hinge series is that they fully preserve the effectiveness of the sealing layer. Doors with these hinge designs are therefore wind and driving rain proof. In addition, they can be optimally adjusted even under the requirements of thermal insulation.
 

Traditionally, BAU is also a trade fair visited by many architects. The company is presenting its new Hahn VL-Band AT concealed door hinge to this particularly design-oriented target group. This now has an adjustment in 6 directions on the installed element. In fashionable black, it is decidedly inconspicuous in the rebate and cannot be seen when the door is closed. As door elements become larger and heavier, Dr. Hahn also wanted to increase the load-bearing capacity of the hinges: The VL hinge AT moves sashes up to max. 180 kg depending on the profile design. And this when using 2 hinges. CE-certified, it is approved for doors with very high loads.
 

"In addition to the hinges, we will also introduce some new tools for the door manufacturer," Weiss promises. "These are unique in our industry and will be helpful in the installed element. A visit to Dr. Hahn is therefore definitely worthwhile."
