Door Hinge Expert Unveils Updates:

At Munich's BAU from 16 to 21 January 2017, Dr. Hahn will present a variety of further developments to its KT screw-on hinge variations at its stand 129 in Hall B1.

Fresh design

When it comes to the modernised design of the premium series KT-N 6R, KT-V 6R, installers will immediately notice the slender profile of the frame hinge blade. For entry doors weighing up to 160 kg, the door hinge is now more subtle, while still retaining its full load-bearing capacity.

Adjustable in six directions

The hinges KT-EV, -EN, SV- and -SN for doors weighing up to 120 kg, depending on the design of the profile sections, can be adjusted in six directions. The variable height adjustment function allows for shifting the door leaf by + 3 or - 2 mm. Horizontally the door leaf can be adjusted by - 5/ + 5 mm and the sealing pressure by - 2.5 /+ 2.5 mm. To ensure a quick installation in the workshop, the retaining screws of the cover strips are also pre-installed in the factory in the new versions.

In addition to that, installers can find all available adjustment instructions for Dr. Hahn door hinges compiled in its app for a quick adjustment of the door hinge. The new instructions app is available for downloading free of charge in the Apple Store and Google Play Store. Installers can thus utilise the adjustment instructions on site as needed and adjust the doors with the requisite precision.
